Today the tour starts with the spectacular archaeological site of Ephesus... Walking in the footsteps of Alexander the Great, Caesar, Cicero and the Apostles Paul and John - among many others, we will explore the sprawling grounds. The Celsus Library is one of the most impressive buildings in the Roman Empire. Built in the year 117 AD, the facade has 2 stories with Corinthian-style columns on the ground floor. The capacity of the library was more than 12,000 scrolls. It was the third richest library in ancient times after the Alexandra and Pergamum. We will also visit Temple of Hadrian, the fountain of Trajan and the famous Theater.

Afterwards we will also visit the house of the Virgin Mary. Thought to have come here to live out the remainder of her life in seclusion after The Crucifixion, the house has become a place of pilgrimage for both Christians and Muslims today. Before finishing the tour your last stop will be the Artemis Temple which was one of the seven wonders of the ancient World. After the tour transfer to your hotel. Dinner and leisure time at the hotel. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.

At the top of the cliff stands the majestic Hierapolis, founded as a thermal spa early in the 2nd century BCE. The grounds offer several noteworthy arched gates, a sprawling amphitheater and the Temple of Apollo, among many other ancient artifacts. We will also visit; Necropolis (cemetery) of Hierapolis which is one of the biggest ancient cemeteries in Anatolia with 1.200 graves, Roman Bath, Domitian Gate, and the Main Street, Byzantium Gate.

As we visit the fairy-tale travertine terraces of Pamukkale we will see that this natural wonder offers terraced white pools of natural spring water cascading down the side of the cliff - with spectacular views over the region and light reflected off the shell-shaped pools. Last, you will have a chance to walk to the natural warm water terraces which were formed by the hot water that contains calcium. The temperature of the water is about 35 degrees.

After the tour transfer to Denizli Airport and fly back to Istanbul. Goodbye!
