Located along the longest river in Turkey, the town of Avanos, was the center of the Hittite pottery-makers centuries ago.  Today the same red and white clay from the surrounding hills is used to create the famous pottery.

After watching the artisan potters carrying on the traditions of their forefathers, using the same Hittite kick-wheel techniques that have been used for more than 4000 years, we’ll have a chance to try and learn the pottery making art. It’s a perfect way to bond your team and have fun!
