HALF DAY GOLDEN HORN TOUR

Pick-up from your hotel around 08:30 and today we will start our tour with the legendary Golden Horn which will offer us the beautiful views of old Istanbul with an unforgettable architectural of imperial mosques, churches and bridges. Continuing along the old city walls, we will take the cable car to reach the famous Pierre Loti Hill where we will have a chance to drink our Turkish Coffee or tea while looking at the breathtaking view over the Golden Horn. We will walk down the hill to visit some of the notable sights along the way. Our next stop is; the beautiful Kariye Museum (Church of the Holy Savior in Chora). The scenes depicting the New Testament are some of the best preserved examples in Turkey today. The Christ Pantocrator fresco practically glows with golden light. Originally built in the 4th century, the current buildings were built in the 11th century. Located outside the original Byzantine city walls, the Chora Museum is often overlooked by day tourists but one of the more impressive sights in Istanbul. Our tour will end after visitng the Byzantine City Walls. After the tour drop-off to Sultanhamet Square for free time.
